Registering Staff and Students for Scholar Accounts
Schools using SEEMiS
If you work in a school using SEEMiS, Scholar receives the information required to create accounts and assign courses via a weekly data feed. All students and teachers studying or teaching one or more Scholar courses will be automatically registered, with their current course(s) available in ‘Timetabled Courses’.
As Scholar contact, you can also provide Scholar with information to manually create accounts, for example for learners in S3 or for a teacher of ESOL or ASN. If you would like to do this, we will ask you to complete a student and/or staff spreadsheet and upload these within your Scholar contact account.
You can download spreadsheet templates, a list of Scholar subject codes and a guide to completing and uploading these here:

Schools not using SEEMiS and FE colleges
If you work in a school which does not use SEEMiS, or in an FE college, part of your role as Scholar contact is to provide the information for all students and staff requiring accounts in your establishment. To do this, we will ask you to complete a student and/or staff spreadsheet and upload these within your Scholar contact account.
