Acceptable Behaviour Policy

All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a reasonable and respectful manner during SCHOLAR Online Tutor Sessions.

Unacceptable behaviour means words, actions or practices experienced during an Online Tutor Session as inappropriate, unreasonable or offensive. This can include 'off-topic chat', bullying, harassment, disclosing personal information, disruptive behaviour and malicious posting during an Online Tutor Session. It can also include discrimination or abuse relating to, but not exclusive to, disability, gender, race, sexual orientation, religion/beliefs and age.

Any participants who demonstrate unacceptable behaviour will be dealt with as follows:

  • Request that the chat pod is kept clear for asking / answering questions.
  • Request that comments in the chat window be kept on topic.
  • Advised that if they continue to be disruptive, they will be removed from the room.
  • Removed participants will be prevented from re-entering the Online Tutor Session.
