Staff Continuing Professional Development
Staff development is a major part of the SCHOLAR activity, ensuring that teachers and administrators have the information that they need to get started with the SCHOLAR programme and enhance teaching and learning. See also link to ‘Staff CPD'.
We run an annual SCHOLAR Conference which provides an opportunity to meet up with other members of the SCHOLAR community and exchange examples of good practice. There is also an opportunity to learn of new developments in SCHOLAR and the wider teaching and learning community.
Tutor guides
To help you get started quickly, we provide a series of tutor guides for our courses. These cover the curriculum approach and give hints on how online activities and assessments might be used.
Online reports
Our learning environment stores information about the activities and progress of your class, which is made available to teachers of SCHOLAR subjects in your own school or institution. This information can be an invaluable tool in knowing how to provide guidance to individual students and the class as a whole. Each student, of course, sees their own personal information and can monitor their own progress at any time.
