Our first keynote speaker was Dr Judy Robertson, a Senior Lecturer of Computer Science at Heriot-Watt University. The topic of her presentationwas ‘Our changing world: 21st Century Learning’.
Our second keynote speaker was Professor Fred McBride from Queens Univeristy, Belfast in conjunction Alta Systems. His presentation was entitled ‘Adaptive learning - a new pedagogy’.
In addition to our keynote speakers we also heard from Gerry Toner, SCHOLAR, on What’s New? here at SCHOLAR. Conference attendees were challenged with ‘A little learning’ with some materials from SCHOLAR’s Simplified Mandarin course.
