Conference 2009
The theme of the SCHOLAR Conference 2009 was ‘Leading on Learning’. Leadership is considered a key strength in Scottish education whether it is the leadership from Scottish Government Ministers, Directors of Education, Headteachers or the innovative practitioner in the classroom.
The 2009 conference further focused on SCHOLAR support for Curriculum for Excellence and the national Scottish schools intranet, GLOW.
Developments within SCHOLAR were shared at the conference, these included the development and upgrade of the SCHOLAR online environment which incorporates many new facilities for the user. New subjects now provided by SCHOLAR were demonstrated, including our Simplified Mandarin course.
